How to regrow over-plucked eyebrows: a brow artist's honest guide

Resting is not dead

Years of tweezing the same hairs can make a follicle go quiet. In many cases it is still there. The job is to stop disturbing it and give it the best conditions to restart.

The twelve week rule

Put the tweezers away completely for one full brow cycle, which is about twelve weeks. It will look untidy around week five. That is the point. You cannot shape hairs that have not arrived yet.

Condition, then shape

Use the serum nightly and roll up to three times a week. When new hairs have come through and darkened, book a shape with a brow artist who will work with your new growth, not take it off.
