Brow serum vs microblading vs lamination: which is right for you?
Share
Lamination
A chemical set that brushes the hairs up and holds them for about six weeks. Brilliant for unruly or flat brows with enough hair to work with. It does not add hair.
Microblading
Semi permanent pigment drawn into the skin as fine strokes. It gives shape and fill immediately, lasts a year or more, and fades. It does not add hair either, and you should wait four weeks before rolling over it.
A growth serum
The slow one. A nightly peptide serum, with a dermaroller, works on the hairs you have and the follicles that have gone quiet. It needs twelve weeks and a bit of faith. It is the only option on this list that leaves you with more of your own brow.
Nicolina's honest answer
Most of her clients end up with two of the three: the serum for the long game, and lamination or HD Brows for the shape in the meantime.
